Introducing Tracelight Instructions

We’re excited to launch Instructions, a new feature that lets you teach Tracelight your unique modeling conventions and formatting preferences.

This update builds Tracelight’s modelling ability to become an extension of your own judgment.

What it can do

• Set Formatting Preferences: Tell Tracelight your firm's specific formatting rules.

• Define Model Conventions: Teach Tracelight your standard DCF workflow, LBO build-up, or other specific analytical processes.

• Improve AI Accuracy: By providing context on how you work, Tracelight will generate outputs that match your personal style, not a generic template.

How we built this

Since launching, our most common piece of feedback was: "Can I teach Tracelight my specific workflow?" It’s about making the AI work how you work, not the other way around. We built Custom Instructions to solve this directly.
